Ballet of Lights: Cinderella in a radiant show
The timeless story of Cinderella – or Cinderella – is well known to everyone: A young girl is treated badly by her stepmother and stepsisters and has to slave for them. But with courage, kindness and a bit of magic, she manages to get to the royal ball and win the heart of the prince. The origins of this fairy tale date back to 1697, when Charles Perrault published “Cendrillon”; the Brothers Grimm later published their own version, “Cinderella”. Cinderella finally became famous worldwide as a musical version in 1945, when Sergei Prokofiev published his ballet adaptation .
At Ballet of Lights, the classical ballet adaptation of the story meets a modern lighting concept. Look forward to a glittering, sparkling dance production accompanied by musical masterpieces by Tchaikovsky, Debussy and other great composers and let yourself be carried away once again by your favorite childhood fairy tale.
Ballet of Lights: Sleeping Beauty in a sparkling show
The legend of Sleeping Beauty originates from old tales from the Middle Ages and was given its familiar form by Charles Perrault and later by the Brothers Grimm. The fairy tale of the enchanted princess who awakens through the kiss of true love has lost none of its magic for centuries. In the Ballet of Lights production, this story comes to life again: magnificent costumes, flowing movements and Tchaikovsky’s touching music combine with impressive light compositions to create an overall experience full of magic and emotion – luminous, elegant and timelessly beautiful.
From January next year, the magical dance spectacle will be coming to the Capitol Theater in Frankfurt for several exclusive shows. Admission starts around 30 minutes before the event begins – you can choose from different seating areas and price categories.
