What is “The Jury Experience”?
“The Jury Experience” blurs the line between watching and participating in an innovative theater format. In this exciting courtroom drama in Frankfurt, the audience itself becomes the jury that decides the fate of the accused in a tricky case. The experience combines interesting moral questions with multimedia elements and emotional performances by professional actors. Every witness statement, every piece of evidence and every cross-examination is important and helps you to reach your verdict at the end.
What is the trial about?
It centers around an accident caused by a self-driving car. As jurors, you have to deal with the question of who is actually responsible for technical faults in such a case: the developers, the manufacturer or the users who rely on the technology? As autonomous vehicles become more and more of a reality, this case presents you with the challenge of critically evaluating and questioning the risks and limits of technology and human responsibility.

During the 75-minute performance, you will experience all the important phases of a court case live: Opening statements, emotional witness testimonies and intense cross-examinations. As the audience, you will be actively involved and vote together on the final verdict at the end. Suitable for participants aged 12 and over, “The Jury Experience” combines exciting entertainment with critical reflection and an interesting insight into the world of justice.
The interactive theater show encourages you to question your morals and put your perception of justice to the test. The fate of the accused is entirely in your hands – are you ready to pass judgment?
Participants must be at least 12 years old and admission usually starts about 30 minutes before the event begins. It is worth arriving early, as places within the individual categories are allocated freely.
